All hands on deck

1. Preparing for the construction process includes many important factors. First and foremost is the heath and safety of you and your family. If you plan to be on living on site while the renovation work takes place, we make sure to prioritize your living conditions and uphold the highest level of care and control day in and day out as the renovation work takes place. Installing protective barriers to separate your living environment from the workspace is very important in preventing unnecessary accidents, dust and debris travel.

2. Demolition is the process of carefully tearing down or removing existing parts of a structure, like walls, floors, or fixtures, to create space for new construction and design changes during the renovation process; essentially, it's the initial step of breaking down the old to make way for the new elements to be added.

3. Foundation: This involves repairing or reinforcing existing foundation walls, adding footings for support beams if needed, or even completely replacing the foundation.

4. Framing: This includes constructing the walls, floors, ceilings, and roof using wooden or steal studs, joists, headers, and beams to create the structural support for the renovation, often requiring adjustments to existing framing to accommodate new layouts or openings.

5. Mechanical: Systems within a building that provide heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical wiring, essentially all the functional systems needed to make a space comfortable and usable; it's considered one of the key phases of a renovation alongside structural work and finishes.

6. Insulation: The insulation layer is placed within the wall cavity to prevent heat from escaping in winter and keep cool air inside during summer, thus improving energy efficiency

7. Drywall: The drywall panels are attached over the insulation, providing a smooth surface for painting or wallpapering while also contributing slightly to thermal regulation.

8. Finishing is the final stage of a construction project where all the cosmetic details and decorative elements are added, including painting, flooring installation, cabinet installation, light fixture installation, and any other elements that contribute to the final aesthetic appearance of the renovated space.

9. Deep Clean: A thorough cleaning process that takes place after a renovation project is completed, involving the removal of all dust, debris, construction materials, and residue left behind, essentially making the space habitable and ready for use again by removing any traces of the renovation work; it includes tasks like sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and sanitizing areas.
